International media reports confirm that no one survived the Ahmedabad plane crash.

The Boeing 787 Dreamliner, carrying 230 passengers and 12 crew members, departed from Ahmedabad Airport today (12) around 1:17 PM for London. It crashed shortly after takeoff. Among those on board were 169 Indians, 59 British nationals, 7 Portuguese nationals, and one Canadian national.

Indian media had reported that former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani was also on this flight.

Foreign media further report that because the aircraft crashed into a residential area, the number of fatalities is expected to rise due to potential casualties on the ground.
