The Ministry of Public Security plans to recruit 10,000 individuals under the age of 45 who have legally retired after actively serving in the military.

Minister of Public Security, Ananda Wijepala, stated this while participating in the opening ceremony of the Thambuththegama Police Superintendent’s office. He mentioned that a cabinet paper related to recruiting these individuals for a five-year period will be submitted for cabinet approval today ( 09).
