To improve public health services for the people of Sri Lanka and enhance human resources, the Ministry of Health today (03) issued permanent appointment letters to 640 individuals for the position of Health Support Assistant (Field Mosquito Control Assistant).

The ceremony, presided over by Minister of Health and Mass Media, Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, took place yesterday (03) at 2:00 PM at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute.These appointments were granted to 640 Field Mosquito Control Assistants who had been working on a contract basis for nearly eight years, with their service periodically extended.
