Poland’s Foreign Minister on Official Visit to Sri Lanka

Poland’s Foreign Minister, Radosław Sikorski, arrived in Sri Lanka’s today  (28) for a three-day official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation between the two countries. Upon arrival, he was received by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Employment, Arun Hemachandra.

As Poland currently holds the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, Minister Sikorski’s visit underscores Poland’s commitment to deepening its engagement with Sri Lanka and the wider South Asian region. He is scheduled to remain in the country until 31 May.
