French sales exhibition organized by ‘Centre Social’

When “Serenbona’’ Media Network  inquired further about this sales exhibition, Pushpasiri Alwis , the co-chairman of the “Centre Social” welfare association, expressed his views as follows:

“We were able to hold the annual sales exhibition organized by our association in the 19th arrondissement of Paris very successfully this year as well. These stalls provide an opportunity to sell used household items that can be reused. Many necessities can be bought from these stalls for very little money. The main objective of our sales exhibition is to raise funds needed for the education of children from low-income families living in the area.

If the funds raised are insufficient, the French government will provide the remaining amount to our association. The support we receive from the local people for this is very high. All the money received from this sales exhibition is directed towards the welfare of children. We have a transparent plan in place within our association for this. This program is a very valuable social service. We all work voluntarily. There are no paid workers or money-making individuals in our association.”
