The National Water Supply and Drainage Board announces that the water supply to several suburban areas including the city of Colombo will be suspended for 12 hours today (25).

The reason for this water supply suspension is essential improvement work at the Ambathale water treatment plant, according to the National Water Supply and Drainage Board.

The board mentions that the water supply is scheduled to be suspended for 12 hours from 8 am today until 8 pm tonight. Accordingly, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board further stated that the water supply to Colombo 1 to 15, as well as Kotte, Kaduwela, Battaramulla, Kolonnawa, Kotikawatta, Mulleriyawa, IDH, Maharagama, Dehiwala, Mount Lavinia, Ratmalana, and Moratuwa areas will be suspended.
