Today (20) marks the third day of the “Siri Dalada Wandanawa” (Sacred Tooth Relic Pilgrimage). Accordingly, arrangements have been made to commence the exposition of the Sacred Tooth Relic at 12:30 PM today, and it is scheduled to continue until 5:00 PM.
The “Siri Dalada Wandanawa” is scheduled to be held for ten days until the 27th, and its opening ceremony was held on the 18th under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

Reports indicate that a large number of people from all parts of the island have been arriving at the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic to pay homage since the opening day. Accordingly, yesterday alone, nearly one hundred and twenty-five thousand devotees were able to venerate the Sacred Tooth Relic.
The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is also operating alms halls 24 hours a day to provide meals for the people who have come for the “Siri Dalada Wandanawa”.
The Maha Sangha (Buddhist clergy) has requested the devotees who come for the Sacred Tooth Relic pilgrimage not to pollute the city of Kandy by carelessly disposing of garbage.
