President Anura Kumara Dissanayake stated, while addressing a public rally held in the Mannar region today (17), that the government has decided to provide the ‘Aswasuma’ (relief) benefit to another 400,000 families starting from the upcoming month of June.

The President said that roads had to be closed due to the war in the North, and the government had to acquire people’s lands. He further stated that the National People’s Power (Jathika Jana Balavegaya) will create a country where all these issues are resolved and people can freely carry out their activities.
