Vijitha Herath, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment, and Tourism, attended the 44th Annual Graduation Ceremony of the Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management (SLITHM) yesterday as the Chief Guest.

The ceremony took place at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), Colombo. The event celebrated the academic achievements of graduates who are set to strengthen Sri Lanka’s tourism and hospitality sectors, key drivers of the national economy. In his address at the graduation ceremony, Minister Herath emphasized the importance of quality training and professional development in positioning Sri Lanka as a globally competitive tourism destination.
