Train services on the upcountry railway line have been disrupted due to a landslide, the Railway Department states.

The Railway Department mentioned that the night mail train operating from Badulla to Colombo Fort is delayed due to a landslide between Ohiya and Idalgashinna.

The Railway Department further stated that work to restore the railway line is currently underway.
