Foreign reserves surpass USD 6.51 Billion

The Central Bank of Sri Lanka states that the official reserve assets held by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka have increased to US dollar 6.51 billion by the end of March 2025, according to the latest data reports.

According to the latest data reports from the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, this is a 7.1% increase compared to the US dollar 6.08 billion reported in February 2025.

Here, the data reports of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka further indicate that the Central Bank of Sri Lanka has purchased US dollar 401.9 million from the domestic foreign exchange market during March 2025.
