National People’s Power (NPP) MP Chandana Sooriyaarachchi states that a new act to confiscate state properties illegally or improperly acquired during past governments will be presented to Parliament on April 8th.

MP Chandana Sooriyaarachchi further stated that this act will enable the legal confiscation, through judicial proceedings, of any property belonging to individuals who have improperly obtained and used state properties and state funds in this country
