Several roads in Yala National Park open from yesterday – Department of Wildlife Conservation

The Department of Wildlife Conservation has announced that a limited number of roads in Yala National Park, which were temporarily closed to tourists, will be reopened from 2:00 PM yesterday (05th).

Yala National Park was temporarily closed from March 1st to minimize damage to the park’s road system due to heavy rainfall in recent days and to reduce the impact on its ecosystem. Roads that are likely to be damaged due to the rain will remain closed to tourists.

The Department of Wildlife Conservation also stated that this situation may change depending on the rainfall received in Yala National Park during the morning hours yesterday.
