The Minister of Buddha Sasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs, Dr. Hinidum Sunil Senevi, recently (on the 20th) joined the occasion at the Colombo Department of Archaeology to display the Sarvagna Dhatu (Relics of the Buddha) found from the Nilgiri archaeological excavation site in Ampara.

These Sarvagna Dhatu will be displayed from the 21st to the 24th (tomorrow) at the Boralla Kalyana Dharma Ashramaya. The enshrinement of the relics in the main relic chamber of the Ampara, Nilgiri Stupa, and the placement of archaeological artifacts are scheduled to take place on the 3rd and 4th of next month
