Perera, Chairman of the Sri Lanka Transport Board, has issued a statement announcing that it is mandatory for schoolchildren, technical college students, university students, and senior citizens who have purchased term passes to be transported on Sri Lanka Transport Board buses.If any bus crew refuses to board these term pass holders, it will be considered a serious offense according to the board’s regulations.

All crew members have been informed that they must transport all pass holders on Sri Lanka Transport Board buses. It has been decided that strict disciplinary action will be taken against any bus crew that refuses to transport pass holders.
