The Railway Department announces the temporary suspension of several trains scheduled to run on the Kelani Valley line today (22nd) and tomorrow (23rd).
“Several trains on the Kelani Valley line will not operate today and tomorrow”
This measure is due to on-going repair work in the Pangiriwatta area. Accordingly, the following trains will be temporarily suspended today and tomorrow:
Train No. 9254 | 8:30 AM Colombo Fort – Avissawella (Slow)
Train No. 9260 | 1:55 PM Colombo Fort – Padukka (Slow)
Train No. 9261 | 4:00 PM Colombo Fort – Avissawella (Semi-Fast)
Train No. 9657 | 12:25 PM Avissawella – Colombo Fort (Slow)
Train No. 9661 | 3:45 PM Padukka – Colombo Fort (Semi-Fast)
However, the Railway Department states that train services will operate during night time.
