The Ministry of Environment has introduced a new WhatsApp number to facilitate public participation in environmental conservation by allowing citizens to report environmental issues directly to the Minister and Deputy Minister, and to ensure swift solutions to these problems.

Accordingly, environmental issues can be reported via WhatsApp messages only to the phone number 076-6412029. The Ministry of Environment expects to expedite and find sustainable solutions by forwarding these issues to the relevant institutions and to conduct investigations through a follow-up process.

This service is active every weekday of the month, from Monday to Friday, between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. This initiative commenced on the 14th,” the Ministry of Environment announced.
