The Central Bank of Sri Lanka has stated that information has been uncovered regarding a scam involving the misuse of its official emblem.

In a statement issued on this matter, the Central Bank highlighted that there has been a noticeable increase in fake job advertisements circulating on social media and other websites, falsely claiming to offer employment opportunities at the bank in an attempt to deceive the public.

Emphasizing that it does not publish job vacancies through third-party social media platforms, the Central Bank clarified that all official information regarding job opportunities is exclusively posted under the “Careers” section of its official website and through its official social media channels.
