President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has left the country to participate in the 2025 World Government Summit held in the United Arab Emirates.
President Anura Kumara Dissanayake departed for Dubai this morning (10th) at 10:10 AM from the Bandaranaike International Airport on Emirates flight EK-651. He is accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs Vijitha Herath, Minister of Energy Engineer Kumara Jayakody, and 13 other senior government officials on this visit.
“President leaves for the UAE today”
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the President is undertaking this visit at the invitation of UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Accordingly, he is scheduled to stay in the United Arab Emirates from today until the 13th.
During the visit, President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is set to participate in the 2025 World Government Summit and is also scheduled to address the summit
