The Department of Motor Traffic has introduced a WhatsApp number to swiftly receive written public complaints. The Commissioner General of Motor Traffic, Nishantha Anuruddha Weerasingha, stated that several measures have already been implemented to promptly address complaints submitted by the public via this number.

 Accordingly, appeals or complaints to the Commissioner General of the Department of Motor Traffic or the department itself can be submitted in writing to the WhatsApp number 071 40 33 300.
