The Department of Examinations of Sri Lanka announced yesterday afternoon (23) that the results of the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination held in 2024 have been released online.
Accordingly, the results can be accessed via the official websites of the Department of Examinations, www.doenets.lk or www.results.exams.gov.lk, as further stated in the announcement.
The Department of Examinations also noted that a total of 319,284 candidates sat for the Scholarship Examination, out of which only 51,244 have passed.
The Department of Examinations has also released the cutoff marks for each district.
According to the announcement, the highest cutoff mark for students who sat for the examination in the Sinhala medium is 143, applicable to the districts of Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara, Kandy, Matale, Galle, Matara, Kurunegala, and Kegalle.
For students who sat for the examination in the Tamil medium, the highest cutoff mark is 141, which is applicable to the same districts: Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara, Kandy, Matale, Galle, Matara, Kurunegala, and Kegalle, as stated by the Department of Examinations.
