All schools in the North Central Province will remain closed today , according to Provincial Education Director S.M.W. Samarakoon.

The Provincial Education Director has stated that this decision was made following the instructions of the Governor due to the prevailing adverse weather conditions.

Additionally, it has been announced that the final term examinations for Grades 3, 4, and 5, scheduled for today and tomorrow  will be temporarily postponed.
