The Colombo High Court yesterday extended the three-month suspension order on former Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella and his family members’ bank accounts and life insurance policies.

After the Bribery Commission requested it, the extension was granted.
As part of the Commission’s ongoing investigation, the court had already ordered the suspension of Rambukwella, his wife, daughters, and relatives, fixed deposits and life insurance policies totalling more than Rs. 97 million.The court has now extended the restraining order until April 2, which was originally scheduled to expire today.
