Deputy Minister of Health and Mass Media, Dr. Hasanka Wijemuni, states that steps will be taken to prohibit the use of children under 12 years in commercial advertisements starting from January (01).

Speaking in Parliament yesterday (06), the Deputy Minister mentioned that all necessary arrangements have already been made to implement the related gazette notification.
