K.B. Manathunga, a Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), has been appointed the Police Spokesman and Director of Police Media.

According to Sri Lanka Police, former Spokesman DIG Nihal Thalduwa will continue in his capacity as the DIG of Crimes Range.
