The Dharmadutha College Old Boys’ Hockey Association in Badulla is organizing a grand open hockey tournament aimed at promoting the sport within the school and the Uva Province.

The tournament, named “Dutha 7’s,” will feature both men’s and women’s open hockey competitions. It is scheduled to take place on November 30 and December 1, 2024, at the Vincent Dias Stadium in Badulla. Over 20 hockey teams, including those representing the tri-forces and other sports clubs, are expected to participate.

This marks the fourth edition of the tournament, organized under the leadership of the Dharmadutha College Old Boys’ Hockey Association, with D.W. Naleendra serving as the chief organizer. The event will also be broadcast live through iTV (Pvt) Ltd.
