R.M.A.L. Rathnayake, the chairman of the Election Commission, requests all Sri Lankan voters to cast ballots in the upcoming general election.
According to him, the public should cast their votes since it is a right granted by the country’s Constitution.
“Request from the Chairman, Elections Commission to all voters.”
“You are entitled to vote by the Constitution itself. Consequently, it is your duty to use that privilege. It is your right to vote. Your vote is your power. Thus, between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on November 14, visit the polling places to cast your important ballot, Rathnayake advised.
