A Russian couple were arrested by the Kandy Tourist Police Unit for violating immigration and emigration laws by residing in the country without a valid visa.

Yesterday evening (27), the couple, who are 39 and 32 years old, were arrested in the Kandy Police Division’s Hantana area.
The arrested foreign couple has been given over to the Kandy Police. The incident is being investigated further by Kandy Police.
