London is the capital and largest city of the United Kingdom, situated along the River Thames in          South-eastern England. It is one of the most iconic cities in the world, known for its history, culture, and global influence in finance, politics, and the arts.

Rich History: London has a history that spans over two millennia, founded by the Romans as Londinium around AD 43. It has been a key settlement throughout the history of the British Isles.
