According to Sri Lankan Police, Israeli people visiting to Sri Lanka for any reason, including tourism, can now ask for assistance immediately to ensure their personal safety.

According to the Police Media Division, visitors who need assistance can contact Mr. Damayantha Vijaya Sri, the Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) in charge of the Tourist Range and Maritime Division, by calling +94718592651.

Police in Sri Lanka provide Israeli nationals with an emergency phone number.

According to the statement, an Israelite who has travelled to Sri Lanka for tourist or for another purpose and feels the need to protect their personal safety should call the number above and get the assistance they need.

It stated that Mr. Vijaya Sri will take the required actions after taking the demand into account.

The Israelites are respectfully asked to supply the required information since identity verification is required in these situations.
