Amnesty is in effect until January 8, 2025, for Sri Lankans who went to Lebanon in search of work but did not register with the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE).
“Amnesty Period for unregistered migrant workers from Sri Lanka to Lebanon given time until January 2025.”
Because of this, initiative allows unregistered migrant workers to rectify their status by registering at the Sri Lankan Embassy in Lebanon according to this effort.
