marks for the three questions in the first paper of this year’s Grade 05 Scholarship Examination that were purportedly shared in advance.

The expert committee has declared that retaking the examination will have a major negative impact on the mental well-being of children who have already taken it.

The need of treating all children fairly is also emphasised, and the best way to achieve this is by giving all students full marks for the three questions in the first paper that were allegedly discussed beforehand.

Final decisions about the “leaked” Grade 5 Scholarship exam questions have been made.

The committee also pointed out that postponing the test may put a great deal of strain on educators, parents, and the educational system as a whole.

A seven-member committee has been created by the Ministry of Education to determine whether or not the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination should be held again this year.

According to Ministry Secretary Thilaka Jayasundara, Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya’s advise was considered in making this decision.

The claimed disclosure of certain questions from this year’s Scholarship Examination created a difficult situation, as well as the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and the Examinations Department began to investigate into it.
