For the third Test match against Sri Lanka, England has named left-arm quick Josh Hull in lieu of Matthew Potts in the starting lineup. A few changes have also been made by Sri Lanka, with Kusal Mendis rejoining the squad in lieu of Nishan Madushka. Additionally, they have chosen to go with a fast-paced assault, benching Prabath Jayasuriya in favour of Vishwa Fernando.
Dan Lawrence, Ben Duckett, Ollie Pope (captain), Joe Root, Hary Brook, Jamie Smith, Chris Woakes, Gus Atkinson, Olly Stone, Josh Hull, and Shoaib Bashir are the members of the England XI for the Oval Test.
Pathum Nissanka, Kusal Mendis, Dinesh Chandimal, Angelo Mathews, Dhananjaya de Silva (c), Kamindu Mendis, Milan Rathnayake, Vishwa Fernando, Lahiru Kumara, and Asitha Fernando make up the Sri Lanka XI for the oval test.
