Election Commissioner General Saman Sri Ratnayake announced yesterday(03) that the EC had received complaints about 14 violent incidents since July 31, 2024. They were among the 2,098 complaints that were received between that date and 4:30 p.m. on September 2, according to him. There are 64 other incidents, 2,020 election violations, and 14 violent incidents that are the subject of the complaints.
