Leader of Kadurata Janata Peramuna and district MP for Nuwaraeliya, V. Radhakrishnan, announced that the party’s political committee has chosen to back Sajith Premadasa, the leader of the current opposition, for president.

V.Radhakrishnan reported that he took part in a ceremony that was held in 2023 in the schools run by the Hatton and Nuwara Eliya Regional Education Offices, where students who passed the fifth-grade scholarship examination were given certificates and gifts.The venue, located in the Hatton Kudo Oya neighbourhood, was a private event space.Leader of Kadurata Janata Peramuna and district MP for Nuwara Eliya, V. Radhakrishnan, also made a comment, stating that the formal statement about the party’s decision to support Sajith Premadasa for president will be released on the eighth of this month.
