Yesterday, the family members of former Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella had 16 fixed bank accounts and three insurance policies frozen by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC). These assets are estimated to be worth a total of Rs. 93.125 million.

The Rambukwella family’s assets are frozen by CIABOC.

They are owned by the son-in-law, three daughters, and wife of Rambukwella. They have spent the last seven days in a frozen state.Rambukwella is being held under remand in relation to accusations that he purchased immunoglobulin injections that were not up to par.
