Today marked the implementation of the 280th phase of the Sakwala Suhuru classrooms programme, which is centred at Kalkuda Walachchena Annoor National School in Batticaloa. The programme is based on the concept of opposition leader Mr. Sajith Premadasa.

On this particular occasion, former governor Dr. M. L. M. Hezbollah and former member of parliament for the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress, Mr. Amir Ali, who represented the All Ceylon People’s Congress, also attended.
