Chongqing, China, thrower Dilhani Lekamge was placed sixth in the women’s javelin throw at the Belt and Road World Athletics Bronze Label Continental Tour event held last day.

Aruna Dharshana, one of the favourites going into the men’s 200-meter final, did not participate, while Lekamge was placed sixth, Dharshana emerged victorious in the men’s 400-meter final as well.
In her final attempt, Lekamge cleared 53.52 meters to finish sixth. The measurements of her other throws were 50.49, 53.41, 52.06, 51.70, and 52.21 meters.
